Targa Telematics consolidates national presence with Targa Trackit Portugal
The new name comes after Targa Telematics acquired TRACKiT earlier this year, thus consolidating its presence in the Portuguese market
Targa Telematics, one of the main global players in the field of IoT and the development of digital solutions and platforms for connected mobility, is consolidating its presence in the national market with the presentation of the new name Targa Trackit Portugal, which is the result of the merger between Targa Telematics Portugal and Trackit Consulting, which took place earlier this year.
The new Targa Trackit Portugal entity will create technological, operational and commercial synergies for both companies, and will strengthen the presence of the Targa Telematics group in the Portuguese market , thus fostering its leadership in the mobility, large fleet, OEM, renting, rent-a-car, industrial equipment rental, transportation and logistics sectors.
Targa Trackit Portugal, under the leadership of Tiago Elias, will be able to respond more quickly and efficiently to market challenges, providing its current and potential customers with a wide range of technological solutions based on R&D and a solid knowledge of the Portuguese market, supported by the European and global presence of the Targa Telematics group.
